The team at Padraigs has pulled together a unique combination of local food favorites to compliment your taproom experience, from classic Minnesota-style Heggies Pizza to English pasties from Potter’s Pasties and warm German pretzels from Aki’s Breadhaus.
Padraigs also regularly schedules food trucks at the taproom, and to best support our food truck partners we don’t serve hot items in the taproom when we have a food truck present.
We offer Minnesota’s own Heggies thin crust pizzas which are handmade in Northern Minnesota and delivered frozen to the taproom where cook them off and cut them into cute little squares, as required by tradition. No slices allowed!
Potter’s is a well-known food truck in Minneapolis and we have partnered with them to bring their pasties to our hungry customers! The pasty was originally developed for English miners, providing them warm, comforting food hundreds of feet below the earth! They dropped the warm pasties down a mile long shaft to the hungry miners below! Fortunately, our delivery is far less dramatic.
From Aki’s Breadhaus, a NE Minneapolis favorite for authentic German bread we offer Aki’s Pretzels served warm from our ovens! They are hand-made in the neighborhood from local, high-quality ingredients, crafted with care and steeped in German tradition. Perfect with any beer.
